ELGIA in collaboration with IEBC held an Inaugural meeting on Boundaries and Delimitation working sessions in Nakuru
On 2nd and 3rd August 2023, ELGIA in collaboration with the Electoral Commission (IEBC) held an Inaugural meeting on Boundaries and Delimitation working sessions in Nakuru.

The objectives of the meeting are;
1. To develop detailed work structure for the boundaries & delimitation exercise,
2. Prioritise key activities under the boundary & delimitation timelines,
3. Identify and develop risk mitigation measures (considering pre, during and post boundary & delimitation,
4. Develop strategies for post boundaries & delimitation work.
This is as per the the provisions of Article 89 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.

The key Boundaries Delimitation Action Plan groups discussed:
1. Staff capacity building and review
2. Map productions process and publication
3. Stakeholders engagement strategy
4. Delimitation planning and logistics among others
