ELGIA supportsTechnologically Facilitated Gender-Based Violence (TFGBV): A Rising Challenge

 

ELGIA recognizes that TFGBV is a growing and urgent concern that cannot be ignored. As part of the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI)-supported program, ELGIA is convening a two-day workshop in Nakuru from 4th–5th December 2025 at Ole-Ken Hotel.

 

This workshop will bring together stakeholders to develop impactful digital content, culminating in the creation of a comprehensive digital toolkit. The toolkit will serve as a guide for anti-TFGBV social media campaigns, equipping partners and advocates with practical resources to raise awareness, challenge harmful narratives, and promote safer online spaces.

 

This initiative underscores ELGIA’s commitment to advancing access to justice, safeguarding digital rights, and strengthening collective action against gender-based violence in all its forms beyond the electoral and governance scope.
