ELGIA Supports two-day training for the County Anti-Corruption Civilian Oversight Committees (CACCOCs)

This initiative represents NACCSC's commitment to combat corruption particularly at the grass root level in each county by equipping the CACCOCs members with the necessary skillset and knowledge to detect, report and ultimately mitigate cases of corruption.

Championed by Hon Judith Pareno and the State Department for Justice, Human Rights and Constitutional Affairs, CACCOCs represent a major milestone in implementing the Kenya Integrity Plan (2023–2028) and advancing the national anti-corruption policy framework in line with regional and international commitments.

She reaffirmed government’s full support, pledging continued technical guidance, policy direction, and institutional coordination to ensure the committees evolve into a model of community-based oversight.
