East African Community (EAC), and the Electoral Law and Governance Institute (ELGIA), sign MOU

The East African Community (EAC), and the Electoral Law and Governance Institute (ELGIA), this morning signed a Memorandum of Understanding to partner and collaborate on supporting Democratic Governance, Electoral Processes, Constitutionalism and the Rule of Law, Election observation, strengthen Governance institutions, Parliamentary Strengthening, and support to Judiciary across the 6 EAC Member States. The signing ceremony was presided over by the Hon. Dr. Peter Mathuki ( Secretary General EAC), and Amb. Dr. Yusuf Nzibo, Chairman ELGIA and Commissioner Lilian Mahiri- Zaja, ELGIA Board Member.
