ELECTORAL INTEGRITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY CONSULTATIVE WORKSHOP

Electoral Integrity Consultative Workshop underway at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Nairobi.
The meeting is expected to evaluate the progress of enforcement of existing electoral laws, compliance by political parties and candidates; compliance by Office of the Registar of Political Parties which will highlight key challenges the ORPP is facing in the enforcement of electoral laws and regulations. 

The main output of the workshop will be the consolidation of recommendations in the form of electoral reform proposals on the thematic area of electoral integrity which will take the form of a technical memorandum to be submitted to the Building Bridges Initiative Taskforce.
Key note addresses from the Auditor General of the Republic of Kenya Mr Edward Ouko , the Australian High Commissioner Ms Alison Chartres, the Chairman of Public Accounts Committee (PAC) Hon. Opiyo Wandayi and the Registar of Political Parties Ms Anne Nderitu .
